Purification Engineer

Location: Dongguan, China

Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for nucleic acid purification process development, process validation, and process scale-up.
  2. Organize and archive experimental records and write purification process SOPs.
  3. Conduct initiation research for new product development and secondary development of existing products.
  4. Collect quality and process-related information, identify factors affecting product quality, initiate research projects, and continuously improve product quality.
  5. Develop specific research and implementation plans for product process improvement, and organize experimental research on process improvement.
  6. Provide technical guidance for the implementation of product process improvements, analyze and solve problems encountered in the new process commissioning process.
  7. Responsible for trial production and production of new products, participate in the acceptance of new product processes, and adjust and improve various technical indicators of new product production processes.
  8. Conduct research on improving the quality standards and testing methods of existing products to ensure continuous improvement of product quality.
  9. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

  1. Master’s degree or above in organic chemistry, applied chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry-related fields.
  2. Fluent in spoken and written English, proficient in reading professional English literature.
  3. Familiarity with operation and maintenance of AKTA Oligopilot Plus, Oligopilot, AKTA Explorer, AKTA Process, and preparative HPLC.
  4. Familiar with various chromatography techniques and fillers (ion exchange, reverse phase, SEC, etc.).
  5. Familiarity with ultrafiltration and diafiltration techniques, experience in protein or nucleic acid purification process development or production is preferred.
  6. Strong analytical and summarization skills, able to undertake project research and development work.
  7. Salary negotiable based on capabilities.
